Updated on Monday, October 12, 2026: IONOS, formerly known as 1&1, has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet. Last year’s promotion launched November 26 and offered steep introductory discounts across web hosting, WordPress hosting, website builders, eCommerce and business email.
One important difference this year is that several IONOS products are already available for $1 per month at ionos.com. That means the headline Black Friday discount may look impressive without actually beating today’s pricing.

These are predictions based on IONOS’s 2025 Black Friday sale and its current October 2026 pricing.
When Will IONOS Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best guess is Tuesday, November 24 or Wednesday, November 25.
Last year’s Black Friday promotion was live by November 26 and was expected to continue through Cyber Monday.
Because IONOS sells digital services rather than physical products, there is no inventory reason to wait until Friday itself. If the promotional pricing appears earlier in Thanksgiving week, shoppers should be able to sign up immediately.
What Did IONOS Offer Last Black Friday?
The 2025 promotion included:

The discounts were advertised as high as 97% depending on the product.
For most users, however, the introductory monthly price and eventual renewal rate are more useful than the percentage-saved figure.
Some IONOS Black Friday Prices Are Already Available
This is the biggest thing to know before waiting until November.
IONOS currently offers its Web Hosting Plus plan for $1 per month with a one-year term. After the introductory period, it renews at $14 per month. The plan currently includes 350 GB of NVMe SSD storage, four email addresses, a domain for the first year and a wildcard SSL certificate.
That is already essentially the same promotional price seen during Black Friday last year.

So if Black Friday simply advertises web hosting at $1 per month again, it will not represent a new low compared with today’s offer.
WordPress Hosting Is Also Already $1
IONOS currently offers its bestselling WordPress hosting tier for $1 per month with a one-year term, after which the price increases to $12 per month. The plan includes 50 GB of SSD storage, five email addresses, automatic backups and AI-assisted website tools.
That is also the same starting price highlighted during the 2025 Black Friday sale.
For Black Friday 2026 to genuinely improve on today’s offer, we would want to see one of three things: a longer $1 promotional period, a lower renewal rate or additional features bundled into the same plan.
Website Builder Could Again Be $1 Per Month
IONOS currently charges $1 per month for the Plus version of its website builder with a one-year commitment. It renews at $20 per month. The plan includes a domain for one year, a professional email address, 50 GB of storage, AI website-building tools and online booking features.

Again, $1 per month would not be a unique Black Friday price unless IONOS changes the contract length or renewal terms.
eCommerce Could Be One of the Better Deals
IONOS’s eCommerce Website Builder is another product currently selling for $1 per month with a one-year term. The qualifying plan normally lists at $37 per month and renews at $32 per month after the introductory year.
That 97% advertised introductory discount is similar to the 2025 Black Friday offer.
For someone starting an online store, the first-year price is attractive. But the more important calculation is the second-year cost. At $32 per month, the same plan would cost $384 over the following 12 months before taxes.
Business Email Could Actually Beat Last Year’s Deal
Professional email is one category where current pricing is already stronger than last Black Friday.
IONOS currently advertises one business email account for $1.10 per month with a three-year term, renewing at $2 per month afterward. A plan with 25 email accounts is $2 per month with a three-year term and later renews at $4 per month.
Last Black Friday, the featured professional email offer was $2 per month with a three-year commitment.
Unless IONOS introduces a different Black Friday package, the current $1.10 offer may already be better.
Pay Attention to the Renewal Price
This is the most important part of any IONOS deal.
The introductory price can be dramatically lower than the amount charged after the promotional period. For example, the current $1 Web Hosting Plus plan renews at $14 per month, while the $1 Website Builder Plus plan renews at $20 per month.
IONOS has also implemented price adjustments for certain existing products during 2026, with affected customers notified directly about their new contract pricing.
Before signing up, check:
- how long the promotional price lasts
- the minimum contract term
- the renewal price
- whether the domain remains free after year one
- whether optional services renew separately
A $1 monthly headline can still turn into a much more expensive subscription later.
Should You Wait for Black Friday?
Not necessarily.
Web hosting, WordPress hosting, the Website Builder Plus plan and an eCommerce plan are all already available for $1 per month.
If you need to launch a website now, there is little reason to wait several weeks simply in hopes of seeing the same $1 price advertised as a Black Friday special.
Waiting makes more sense if you are flexible and want to see whether IONOS offers a longer introductory term, improved renewal pricing or stronger VPS and email deals.
When Will IONOS Black Friday 2026 Be Confirmed?
Based on 2025, we expect the Black Friday promotion around November 24–26, with the deals likely continuing through Cyber Monday on November 30.
The main question this year is not whether IONOS will advertise $1 hosting. Those prices are already available. What matters is whether the Black Friday terms actually improve on today’s offers.
