Updated on Thursday, November 21, 2024: Best Buy’s “Main Event” Black Friday 2024 sale just went live! We just posted some of this year’s featured deals in the ad below but there’s much more to see on their site. Here’s what you need to know:

• • Best Buy’s main set of Black Friday deals are confirmed to begin on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 (that’s a week before Thanksgiving), however new doorbuster deals will be added to the event on Friday, November 22nd and again on Black Friday itself, Friday November 29th (look our for TV’s, PS5, Xbox, headphones, and other hot items).
  • New doorbuster deals will every Friday afterwards through December 20th, 2024. Plus and Total members get early access every Thursday to these doorbusters before they become available to the general public.
  • Purchases made at Best Buy throughout November and December will automatically qualify for an extended return through January 14th, 2025. However that excludes all third-party items.
  • For the last four years during the pandemic, many stores nationwide have decided to stay closed on Thanksgiving day itself. Best Buy has officially confirmed that it too will once again remain closed here in 2024. All stores typically reopen at 5:00AM on Friday morning.
  • As you would expect, you’ll find items on sale from all categories across the store. That will include TV’s, laptops, small kitchen appliances, major appliances, personal electronics and games/gaming systems. You can scroll down the page to see this year’s ad and featured offers.

Black Friday 2024 Start & End Dates

This is now the 13th consecutive year that we’ve been tracking Best Buy’s Black Friday sales; when it comes to their sale dates, a similar sales schedule has been repeating itself for these last few years now. Here is this year’s confirmed Black Friday and holiday sales schedule:

• Black Friday 2024 Early Deals:
  • Confirmed Start Date: November 8, 2024
  • Details: Weekly doorbuster deals on select tech items like laptops, TVs, and electronics will be available every Friday through December 20, 2024.
  • Exclusive Access: Plus and Total members get early access to these deals each Thursday before they are open to the public.
• Black Friday 2024 Sale (The Main Event):
  • Confirmed Start Date: Thursday, November 21, 2024
  • Details: The official Black Friday sale begins a week before Thanksgiving. Previously released doorbusters return, with additional limited-time deals launching on Friday, November 22 and Black Friday, November 29.
• Cyber Monday 2024 Sale:
  • Confirmed Start Date: Sunday, December 1, 2024
  • Details: Best Buy’s Cyber Monday event offers up to 50% off a wide range of items, including popular holiday gifts and tech.

If shopping in-stores, we are expecting that beginning on Monday November 11, 2024 all Best Buy stores will operate with extended hours, open from 9:00AM to 9:00PM local time from Monday to Saturday and from 9:00AM to 8:00PM on Sunday. Extended store hours will likely run up until Christmas Eve, Sunday December 24, 2024.
