Updated on Thursday February 1, 2024: If you’re planning on shopping Black Friday deals in-person this year at any one of the 120+ stores located in the Allen Premium Outlets, then get ready because it’ll be a busy holiday weekend! As one of the largest outlets in Texas, let alone in the country, they are known for drawing huge crowds over the Thanksgiving break. But will they be open this year on Thanksgiving day itself?
While we can’t yet officially confirm it, they likely won’t be open on Thanksgiving day (they’ve been closed for the last four years in a row). But it’s not only the Allen Outlets that are expected to be closed but also all the other 200+ malls and outlets nationwide that are owned and operated by the Simon Property Group. This follows a trend we’ve recently seen from big-box stores such as Walmart, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target and many others that are also remaining closed on Thanksgiving day.
But don’t worry, you’ll have Black Friday and the rest of the holiday weekend to shop the doorbuster bargains. Here’s a look at this year’s predicted store opening and closing times:
- Thanksgiving Day: On Thursday November 28, 2024 all stores are expected to be closed for the entire day.
- Black Friday: On Friday November 29, 2024 stores will likely be open at 6:00 a.m. and will close at 9:00 p.m.
- Small Business Saturday: On Saturday November 30, 2024, stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: On Sunday December 1, 2024, stores will likely open at 12:00 p.m. and close at 6:00 p.m.
- Cyber Monday: On Monday December 2, 2024 stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
