Updated on Monday, March 31, 2025: We are back again this tax season with our list of favorite offers and discounts to help save on your Turbotax 2025 software. Here’s a look at all of the currently available deals today (this list is updated on an ongoing basis through this year’s quickly approaching tax deadline on Monday April 15th).

Our Favorite TurboTax Discounts & Deals, April 2025:

  • Get an extra 10% off TurboTax online federal products — This discount is on top of the current end-of-season pricing that’s now live. You’ll have your choice from the regular do-it-yourself versions, the Live Assisted versions where experts will help you as needed or the Full Service version where they do your taxes for you. Offer valid until 11:59 PM PST on April 15, 2025.
  • 50% off the Quickbooks Solopreneur (with Live Assisted Tax) — If you already use Quickbooks to run your business accounting, or have though about using it, then this bundle offer is definitely worth taking a look at. You’ll get 50% off your first 3 months of service (normally $20/month, now $10/month). This is an ongoing promotion but only available to new customers.
  • Military discount — All enlisted active duty military and reservists ranking from E1 through E9 can qualify for free federal and state filing with TurboTax Deluxe, Premier or Self-Employed. Offer excludes TurboTax Live or TurboTax Desktop products (TurboTax CD/Download). Must have a with a W2 from DFAS in order to qualify. Military veterans and retirees get the standard TurboTax discount as allotted to everyone else.
  • TurboTax for College Students — If you’re doing your taxes for the first time, then TurboTax will walk you through all the steps to take the pain out of filing. Plus, qualifying students can get over $1,000 back in education credits and deductions. And if you happen to be an international student, then the Sprintax team can help with your non-resident tax preparation.
  • File for free with TurboTax Free Edition — You’ll pay nothing at all to file your federal and state taxes with the TurboTax Free Edition if you have a simple tax return. Just keep in mind that only about ~37% of taxpayers qualify (form 1040 + limited credits only). There’s no better deal than that!

We’ll be updating this page all season long so be sure to check back again for the latest deals coming from TurboTax before you file your tax return this year. Just remember, the best TurboTax deals always come at the beginning of the tax season; we’ll likely see less discounts as we approach the tax filing deadline.

How to Save on TurboTax with your Credit Card

Besides the deals posted above, you can often save an extra few bucks more when you use a qualifying credit card at checkout when paying for your TurboTax software. We recommend logging into your online account for your favorite card and seeing if they have an extra percentage or fixed discount when using the card for your TurboTax purchase.

For example, let’s say you have a Cash Back Discover Card. Most cards offer 1% to 5% back on purchases. But when you login to your online Discover Card account, be on the lookout for a rewards or offers sections for additional savings from TurboTax. We’ve noticed that many of the larger banks and financial institutions have teamed up with TurboTax this season to offer even greater perks when using a qualified card.

When’s this Year’s Tax Deadline?

You’ll have until Monday April 15, 2025 at 11:59PM your local time to file your 2024 federal tax return and make any necessary payments for taxes owed to the IRS. If you’re granted a tax extension then you’ll have until October 15, 2025 to file.

But with that said, if you’re anticipating a tax refund thais year then it’s probably a good idea to not wait until the last minute the file. That’s because the faster you send in your return then the faster you’ll receive any tax refunds owed to you.

Which Version of TurboTax Should I Choose?

If your tax situation is unusual and you’re not certain as to the version of TurboTax software to use, then you can always start with the lowest “free” version. That’s because the software will either way guide you — step by step — to the correct one to use based on the individual information that you provide.

When Will Buckle’s Black Friday 2025 Sale Start?

Looking at past trends, Buckle tends to start their Black Friday sale early rather than limiting it to just one day. In 2025, we expect the sale to begin on Friday, November 21, 2025, and run all the way through Cyber Monday on December 1, 2025.

This means shoppers will have 11 full days to score deals. However, inventory varies by store, and stock sells out fast, especially online. If you’re after specific sizes or styles, it’s best to shop early.

How Big Are the Discounts?

Buckle has a tiered discount approach for Black Friday, meaning some items get bigger markdowns than others. This year, the biggest discount expected is:

Brownells Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

Brownells’ Black Friday Sale is known for offering some of the best dals of the season on firearms and hunting gear. Based on previous years, here’s what you can expect from Brownells’ upcoming 2025 Black Friday event.​

Expected Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates

Historically, Brownells’ Black Friday sales have spanned from late November into early December. Last year, the sale ran for a full week; from the Sunday before Thanksgiving weekend through the holiday, ending on Sunday night. Following this pattern, it’s reasonable to anticipate that the 2025 event will run from Sunday, November 24, 2024 and end on Sunday, November 30, 2024.

Expected Discounts and Promotions

Brownells is known for offering site-wide discounts during Black Friday. In 2024, they provided free shipping on orders over $49 and a 15% discount on nearly all products using a specific promo code. In 2024, some of the standout deals included:​

  • BRN-180 Gen 2 Upper Receivers: These were available at some of the best prices of the year.

  • BRN-4 Kits: Offered at $699.99, these kits provided an affordable option for those interested in assembling their own firearms.
