Last Year’s Black Friday Ad
Updated on Friday, November 17, 2023: Black Friday comes around at a pretty good time for all of us that are into winter sports. With Christmas break only a few weeks away, and many ski slopes already open, the deals over Thanksgiving weekend long make it a good time to stock up on some new gear. That includes at one of our favorite shops — Backcountry!
Starting today, shop their site to save up to 60% off a number of sale items. Product segments include jackets to backpacks and everything else in-between. The premium brands are discounted just a little bit less than the secondary ones but you can still find a lot of great deals as long as you shop early (the popular items and sizes are usually the first ones to sell out).
On top of that, all Expedition Perks Members get a 25% off coupon that can be used on just about any full-priced item of your choice or 20% off one full-price item from Patagonia, Pendleton or Carhartt. You must be signed in through your account to take advantage of the offer (it’s free to signup if you’re not yet joined). You’ll also earn points on your purchases as a member.

Backcountry’s Black Friday 2024 Sale Dates
Backcountry’s Black Friday sale always begins a little over a week before Thanksgiving and ends on Cyber Monday, or while in-stock supplies last. This year is expected to be no different.
- Expected sale start date: Friday, November 22, 2024 (that’s a week before Thanksgiving).
- Expected sale end date: Cyber Monday, December 2, 2024. It’s possible some new one-day-only specials will be added on Cyber Monday itself.
