Updated on Wednesday January 31, 2024: For those of you living in San Bernardino county, The Desert Hills Premium Outlets is the place to go to shop your favorite brands at discount prices. And of course it gets busy there over the holidays, especially on Thanksgiving weekend when you can say everything turns into orderly chaos.
It’s expected that Desert Hills Premium Outlets will close all stores on Thanksgiving itself. They are one of the 200+ malls and outlets across the nation owned by the Simon Property Group, all of which will likely also be closed. That’s in addition to the 50+ big box retailers that are also expected to stay closed on Thanksgiving day itself this year. Most of these stores will again be focusing their best Black Friday doorbuster online this year (of course we’re tracking them all!)
But if you wouldn’t miss a good sale in-person over anything in the world, then you still will be able to shop over the holiday weekend at Desert Hills outlet. Here are this year’s predicted Thanksgiving holiday weekend store hours for 2024:
- Thanksgiving Day: On Thursday November 28, 2024 all stores are expected to be closed for the entire day.
- Black Friday: On Friday November 29, 2024 stores are expected to open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
- Small Business Saturday: On Saturday November 30, 2024, stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: On Sunday December 1, 2024, stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
- Cyber Monday: On Monday December 2, 2024 stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
Because of the expected crowds at the mall itself and likely traffic in the area and on the 10 freeway, you’ll have to plan on getting there at least two hours early if you’ll have any chance on finding parking.

Just remember that it’s still a good idea to call ahead before you leave your home to confirm individual store hours as some may vary. Good luck and happy bargain hunting!
