Petco’s Black Friday 2018 sale is still a ways away. And although it’s too early to know what’s coming, you can scroll down the page to check out what was offered last year to get an idea of what’s likely to come. Updated on Sunday, November 5, 2017: Petco’s Black Friday 2017 ad was just released a few moments ago. And with three weeks still left to go until Thanksgiving, you’ll have plenty of time to browse through the flyer and put tougher a plan of action. Scroll down the page to view it in full.
This year the sale runs from Friday through Saturday, November 24—25, 2017. It’s just important to know that you’ll need to be signed up as a Pal’s Rewards member in order to get the advertised sale price (its free to join). Some popular items are likely to sell out early, especially those free antlers that come with any in-store purchase (everyone just seems to love them!).
In terms of the deals this year, be sure to check out the items the the “lowest price of the year” tagged on them for the best offers. That includes a buy-one get-one 50% off on all bags of Beneful, Iams, Pedigree, and Purina ONE dog food; 50% off Petco’s entire stock at the dog treat bar; $9.99 sale priced Litter Genie Plus Disposal Systems for your cat; and $11.99 sale priced Arm & Hammer Cat Litter.
Store hours this year should remain the same as last year at most locations: Closed on Thanksgiving day and opening at 8:00am on Black Friday. You can find the official details once the sale goes live on petco.com. Happy bargain hunting!

Lots of 50% off deals – Everything from freshwater fish (like our beloved african cichlids) and reptiles to dog bedding and assorted cat furniture. Check out the the highlights in the flyer below. While you’re running around the mall finding deals for yourself, don’t forget abut the bargains for your dog, cat, bird, fish or whatever other pet that has made your home theirs. Petco’s black friday ad scan has just been leaked and for 2015, you’ll find some of the best deals of the year on a lot of the stuff, including the everyday essentials like food, treats and bedding. Store hours are expected to stay the same this year with stores closed all day on Thanksgiving and opening at 8:00AM on Friday morning (the deals will run through Saturday while supplies last). Just keep in mind that many of these deals will require you to be a Petco Pals member. Oh, and take a moment to sign up to their email newsletter if you haven’t already as all new members get a online coupon code emailed to them for up to 20% off (we’re just not sure if it can be combined with the Black Friday weekend deals or not but it’s worth trying).

You’ll notice here that the 50% off deals continue — Including 50% off all freshwater fish and plants (I’ve had african cichlids for many years and are by far my favorite fish with a lot of personality and come in a number different colors… check those out if you’re looking to set up a new aquarium and haven’t decided on what to get).

The 50% off deals continue on page 3 of 20 of Petco’s 2015 Black Friday ad scan. On this page you’ll be able to stock up on all of your everyday essentials like cat litter, rabbit and hamster food and hay, puppy training pads, and select cat litter disposal systems.
On page 4 of 20 of Petco’s 2015 Black Friday ad scan you’ll find all of those tasty treats that you’re dog loves for 50% off. Plus you’ll be able to buy Canidae Pure and Life Stages dog or cat food at 50% off (that applies to all 4 and 5 pound bags).

2014: Petco is really trying to outdo the competition this year with a massive 16-page ad for Black Friday (Petsmart’s ad was only 6 pages long). And we gotta say, the deals look pretty darn compelling. And besides the savings of up to 50% off, you’ll be able to earn 5% on your total purchase in rewards credit. The starts early on Thanksgiving morning with most stores opening at 7:00am and will run through Saturday.
Our favorite deals of course are all the 50% off hot buys. That includes Kaytee per bedding, the entire stock of Fiuval Marine LED lighting, the entire stock of Petmate and Booda cat litter boxes, freshwater fish and plants, and select dog and cat treats.
For the dog lovers, be sure to check out the Brinkmann pet gusset beds that are available in a number of sizes for 50% off the list price. The entire stock of wire grates and kennels are at least 15% off. And finally, the entire selection of Kong dog toys, trays, and stockings are 20% or more off if you pick up a least two of them.
For the cat in your family, you’ll find most lasers, electronics and track cat toys marked down at 15% off. LitterMaid multi-cat automatic self-cleaning boxes are all $50.00 off. And all Pals Rewards members will be able to pick up a Petco branded donut cat bed at 50% off the regular price.
Speaking of Pals Rewards, many of the deals this black Friday weekend will require you to be a member to be able to get the lowest sale price. Membership is free so that’s not an issue but you will need to find a few moments to signup for it if you haven’t done so already.
