Updated on Saturday, November 2, 2024: With Thanksgiving weekend just around the corner, let’s take a look at what you can expect to see at Pottery Barn’s Black Friday 2024 sale:
- While Pottery Barn will have a number of “Early” Black Friday deals in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving weekend, their main event typically begins on Black Friday itself (that’s on November 29, 2024 this year). The event typically last through Sunday night and is replaced with a nearly identical one-day-only Cyber Monday sale.
- In terms of the deals, you can expect to save up to 50% off select sale items plus get free shipping on many of them when shopping their site. Some of the featured deals from last year included:
- Up to 50% off throws, including the Faux Fur Ruched Throw that was sale red from $80 to $149 (normally $179 to $299).
- Up to to 50% off all robes and slippers in stock, including the Cable Plush Robe that was sale priced at $39 (normally $79).
- 20-50% off Christmas ornaments, holiday decorations, festive tabletop items. That included the Channel Quilted Velvet Stocking on sale from $10.50 to $29.50 (normally $14.50 to $39.50).
- Up to 40% off all Rugs.
- Up to 30% off armchairs and select fabrics, including the popular Tyler Lether Recliner.
- 25% off all Jewelry and Travel.
- Up to 20% off Sofas and Sectionals.
- If shopping in-stores, keep in mind that all locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day itself.
- Pottery Barn also offers up to 10% back in rewards when you apply and get approved for the Pottery Barn credit card. It’s something you may want to consider if you’re planning a large purchase.

Pottery Barn’s Black Friday 2024 Sale Dates
You’ve probably noticed that Pottery Barn runs a number of pre-Black Friday deals in days and weeks leading up to Thanksgiving weekend. But their main Black Friday sale always seems to begin on Black Friday itself. The deals typically run through the long weekend, ending on Sunday night or while in-stock supplies last.
- Expected pre-BF deals start date: Wednesday November 20, 2024 (that’s a little over a week before Thanksgiving).
- Expected main BF sale start date: Friday November 29, 2024 (that’s on Black Friday itself).
- Expected main BF sale end date: Sunday December 1, 2024 or while supplies last. Some offers will likely continue through Cyber Monday.

None of us on the team recall it specifically being on sale, but if you look at Pottery Barn Kids’ Black Friday ad from last year, toys were 20% off. Might be worth waiting to see if you’re not in a rush. Good luck!

Will there be an offer on free shipping on furniture on Black Friday?

Unfortunately not. We’ve never seen Pottery Barn offer free furniture delivery on Black Friday. However most furniture qualifies for their “Unlimited Flat Rate Delivery” rates. So if you buy a few items, for example a new bed frame with nightstands, then the rate becomes pretty reasonable. The rate also depends on how far away you live from Pottery Barn’s warehouse and the amount of your overall order.

I meant would the shipping be a different rate on Black Friday- I really don’t like the idea of $299. For shipping of Tv Stand be different if it was a bedroom set to put together . But there’s nothing to assemble here.

In the last several year’s that we’re been tracking Pottery Barn’s Black Friday sales, we’ve never seen them offer a lower price on their “Unlimited Flat Rate Delivery” rate on furniture/bulky items. I wouldn’t count on them offering this on Black Friday.

I like Pottery Barns organic cotton bed linen so I’m going to be looking for that at their Black Friday sale this year. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they have something pretty on sale.
