Updated on Saturday, November 2, 2024: We still have some time left to go until Lowe’s Black Friday 2024 sale arrives, however we’ve been tracking them long enough to know pretty much what’s coming. Here’s what you can expect this year:
- While Lowe’s will be running early Black Friday deals starting in late-October (similar to The Home Depot, mostly with appliance deals), the main event is expected to being online on Thanksgiving Day itself (Thursday November 28, 2024) and in-stores the next morning on Black Friday.
- We are expecting to secure a leaked copy of their Black Friday ad a few days before the main event. Be on the lookout for it by Monday November 25, 2024.
- In terms of the deals, you’ll find everything from power tools and Christmas decor, to kitchen appliances and home electronics. You can scroll down the page to view last year’s 7-page ad to get a general idea of item mix and price points that we typically see.
- If shopping in-stores, all locations nationwide will be closed on Thanksgiving day itself. Stores usually open at 6:00AM on Friday morning.
- The advertised specials are expected to be valid through Wednesday, December 4, 2024 unless otherwise noted and only while in-stock supplies last. Popular doorbuster items will sell out early.

Lowe’s Black Friday 2024 Sale Dates
You’ll find that Lowe’s typically has a similar Black Friday sales schedule as The Home Depot; early deals usually began at the end of October and run right up until Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. The main event usually comes online on Thanksgiving day and in-stores on Black Friday itself.
- Expected early BF deals, round #1: Thursday October 31, 2024 through Wednesday November 13, 2024.
- Expected early BF deals, round #2: Thursday November 14, 2024 through Wednesday November 27, 2024.
- Expected main Black Friday sale start date: Thursday November 28, 2024 online (that’s on Thanksgiving Day) and on Friday November 29, 2024 in-stores. Keep in mind that all stores are closed on Thanksgiving day.
- Expected main Black Friday sale end date: Wednesday December 4, 2024 or while supplies last.
