ZARA’s After Christmas “Boxing Day” 2024 Sale

Updated on Monday, December 9, 2024: ZARA’s After Christmas Sale, better known as their Boxing Day Sale, is one of the most highly anticipated shopping events of the year for fans of the brand. If you’re looking to snag some stylish pieces at a discount, this is your chance to grab wardrobe staples, seasonal items, and accessories at reduced prices. While not everything in the store will be on sale, the discounts are significant enough to make it worth your while. Here’s a detailed look at what you can expect, when the sale begins, and how to make the most of it.

When Does the Sale Start?

ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale is expected to begin online on the evening of December 25, 2024, with a specific launch time of 8:00 PM EST / 5:00 PM PST. If you prefer to shop in person, the in-store event will start when ZARA stores open their doors on December 26, 2024, typically in the morning.

It’s important to note that ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale tends to draw a lot of attention, and popular items often sell out quickly, both online and in-store. Shopping as soon as the sale starts will give you the best chance of snagging your favorite pieces in the sizes and styles you want.

How Long Does the Sale Last?

The event is expected to last through to the the end of December. The sale is typically tied to clearing out remaining fall and winter inventory to make room for the upcoming Spring 2025 Collection, so the discounts will likely remain available until stock runs out.

If you’re shopping later in the sale, you might still find some great deals, but keep in mind that the best selection will be available early on.

Discount Levels and What to Expect

The Boxing Day Sale at ZARA isn’t a storewide discount event, but it does offer significant markdowns on select items across various categories. Based on past sales, here’s what you can expect:

  • Up to 45% Off Select Items: Discounts are expected to go as high as 45% off on select items in the women’s, men’s, and kids’ sections.
  • Seasonal Favorites: This includes winter staples such as coats, shoes, and boots, which tend to sell quickly due to their high demand.
  • Limited Selection: Not all items will be discounted, so while the deals are appealing, you might find that some of your favorite full-priced pieces aren’t included in the sale.

While the Boxing Day Sale isn’t as expansive as some other ZARA promotions, it’s similar in scope to their Black Friday Sale, making it a good opportunity to save on stylish and versatile pieces.

What to Buy

ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale is a chance to pick up high-quality, trend-forward pieces at a fraction of their usual price. Here’s a breakdown of some of the best categories to shop during the sale:

1. Outerwear

One of the standout categories during ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale is outerwear, including coats, jackets, and parkas. ZARA is known for its stylish and well-made winter pieces, and the sale often includes discounts on everything from tailored wool coats to puffer jackets. If you’re looking to upgrade your winter wardrobe, this is the perfect time to invest.

2. Shoes

Shoes are another must-check category. Whether you’re in the market for sleek ankle boots, chunky sneakers, or statement heels, ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale usually includes a good selection of footwear at reduced prices. Keep an eye out for versatile styles that can carry you through multiple seasons.

3. Knitwear

ZARA’s knitwear is a staple for cold-weather layering, and the sale often features markdowns on sweaters, cardigans, and turtlenecks in a range of colors and fabrics. Look for neutral shades that can easily pair with other items in your wardrobe.

4. Kidswear

If you’re shopping for little ones, ZARA’s kidswear section typically features a variety of discounted items during the Boxing Day Sale. This is a great opportunity to pick up stylish and durable clothing for children at a lower price.

5. Accessories

ZARA is known for its chic accessories, and the sale often includes deals on scarves, hats, and bags. These items are perfect for adding a polished touch to any outfit without breaking the bank.

How to Shop the Sale

If you’re planning to shop ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale, here are a few tips to make the experience as smooth and efficient as possible:

1. Start Online

With the online sale starting on the evening of December 25, shopping from the comfort of your home is the easiest way to get a head start. ZARA’s website often gets heavy traffic during sales, so logging in as soon as the sale goes live will increase your chances of snagging the best deals.

2. Create an Account in Advance

If you don’t already have an account on ZARA’s website, it’s a good idea to set one up before the sale begins. This will save you time during checkout and reduce the likelihood of items selling out before you can complete your purchase.

3. Use the Zara App

The ZARA app is another great way to shop the sale. It often provides a smoother shopping experience than the website, especially during peak sale times when online traffic is high.

4. Know Your Sizes

ZARA’s sizing can vary slightly from one item to another, so it’s helpful to have a good sense of your size across different categories. Check the sizing guide on their website or app if you’re unsure.

5. Act Quickly

Items in ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale are only available while supplies last, and popular styles tend to sell out quickly. If you see something you love, it’s best to add it to your cart and check out as soon as possible.

6. Visit the Store for Additional Selection

If you’re able to visit a ZARA store on December 26, 2024 you might find items that aren’t available online. Just be prepared for crowds, as the Boxing Day Sale is one of the busiest shopping events of the year.

What to Watch Out For

While ZARA’s Boxing Day Sale is a great opportunity to save, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Limited Selection: Not all items in ZARA’s inventory will be included in the sale, so you might not find discounts on every product you’re hoping to buy.
  • No Price Adjustments: ZARA typically doesn’t offer price adjustments on items purchased before the sale, so if you’ve already bought something at full price, you won’t be able to get a discount retroactively.
  • Final Sale Items: Some sale items may be marked as final sale, meaning they can’t be returned or exchanged. Make sure to double-check the return policy before purchasing.

ZARA Memorial Day 2024 Sale – What to Expect

Updated on Tuesday May 14, 2024: We’ve been tracking ZARA’s Black Friday, Cyber Monday, After Christmas (aka Boxing Day) and Labor Day sales for a number of years now. But now, due to popular demand, we’re adding ZARA’s Memorial Day sale to the list of new stores that we are tracking for 2024. So now that the long weekend is here, will ZARA have a sale?

Unfortunately, ZARA doesn’t run Memorial Day sales. We took a look at some of last year’s email newsletters that we received from ZARA and couldn’t find any sales or specials offers mentioned in any of them for the entire month of May either. We also did some searching in Google and came up empty handed. But not all is lost!

ZARA’s annual “Summer Sale” typically arrives in late June; last year it began online on June 23rd at 8:00pm EST / 5:00pm PST (with early access exclusively for those shopping on ZARA’s app) and in-stores on June 24th. It’s usually not a storewide sale but there’s typically plenty on offer for both men and women at up to 45% off. That includes hundreds of sale pieces from every category — shorts to skirts, shoes to shirts, and much more. If it returns again this year around the same time then that’s only abut 3 weeks away. So just hang in there just a little bit longer 🙂
